Jamie has over 20 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator. He was co-founder of Compass Mortgage LLC in 2005 and has served as its President from day one. All that experience has been used to help thousands of homeowners in Florida to realize their dreams of homeownership.
Jamie grew up in Spartanburg, SC, and met a Lakeland, FL, girl at Davidson College in Davidson, NC. They were married in 1995 in Lakeland and moved to Montana right after the honeymoon. They reluctantly moved to Lakeland in 1998, but Jamie is now a proud Floridian who enthusiastically tells every client how amazing Lakeland and Central Florida are.
The Browns have four children and were a founding family of Christ Community Presbyterian Church in Lakeland in 2005. Jamie can be found there on Sundays playing his bass guitar in the band. He is also a passionate golfer and fisherman and loves traveling and backpacking with his wife.
